Provincial police in Listowel, Ont., have issued warnings to residents and schools as they search for a man with a gun.
Police say there was an incident involving a firearm at a home in the community north of Stratford about 5:45 a.m., although no shots were fired.
Emergency response officers are trying to find 19-year old Joshua Drummond, who was walking a pit bull type dog.
Police say he should be considered armed and should not be approached.
Several roadblocks have been set up in the area.
Residents are being warned to stay inside, and schools are either closed or in lockdown.
