Police at the scene of a fatal shooting at a boutique in Old Montreal on Thurs., March 18.Ryan Remiorz

The owner of a Montreal boutique where two men were gunned down Thursday appears in court today on suspicion of breaching his bail conditions.

Ducarme Joseph is expected to make his appearance via video link.

The bail conditions stem from an assault charge that Mr. Joseph has pleaded not guilty to.

Police allege he was seen with two people he was ordered not to associate with as part of the bail conditions.

Police say the shooting that killed two people and wounded two others had all the hallmarks of a professional hit.

Investigators are trying to determine if there are any connections to organized crime.

Mr. Joseph's lawyer refused to talk to the media Friday about the breach of bail conditions allegation.
