Police are seeking two suspects in a restaurant robbery being described as traumatic for two employees who were tied up by their assailants.

Just before midnight on Jan. 3, two men with handguns burst through the back entrance of Vancouver's Section (3) Restaurant in Yaletown. The two employees who were in the restaurant at the time were bound and gagged while the armed men emptied a safe of cash and jewels.

The armed men were dressed in suits and overcoats, and fled in a dark-coloured, two-door car.

The suspects are believed to be between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall, of medium build and between the ages of 20 and 40 years old.

Police are asking anyone with information on this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
