Two 15-year-old boys are facing charges after a young woman was allegedly raped while she was passed out at a Calgary light-rail transit station.

Police say the assault happened early Sunday morning after train service had ended for the day.

Staff Sgt. Dave Louie, a police spokesman, says two boys were at the station platform in the city's southwest when they came across the woman.

Sgt. Louie says one of them acted as a lookout while the second suspect allegedly attacked the female.

The assault was not caught on a surveillance system that monitors LRT stations 24 hours a day, but a struggle between the woman and one of the suspects was.

The boys have been remanded in custody until their next court appearance.
