Some wild and severe weather is making its way through much of southern Ontario this evening.
A tornado warning is in effect for Port Carling, Port Severn, Parry Sound, Killbear Park and Rosseau.
A warning previously issued for Huntsville and Baysville has ended.
Those in areas affected by the tornado warning are advised to take cover immediately and move into their basements if possible.
They are also advised to avoid standing near windows and doors and to bring a battery-powered radio and flashlight with them.
Thunderstorm warnings have been issued for much of the Greater Toronto Area, as well as Kitchener-Waterloo through to Guelph and Orangeville.
The warning extends east into Lindsay, Kawartha Lakes and Belleville.
Meanwhile, a thunderstorm watch remains in place for the area from Niagara through Hamilton and into Caledon, and even as far north as Barrie, Collingwood, Midland and Orillia.
The severe weather is expected to bring heavy downpours, strong winds and even hail in many areas.
