Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty

The rain and high wind that swept through Toronto put a dent in Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty's day - literally.

An OPP SUV was waiting for Mr. McGuinty at the east door of Queen's Park on Tuesday evening.

The area is under construction and the high winds toppled some bricks onto the vehicle.

Officials say the Premier wasn't there at the time, no one was injured and damage to the vehicle was minor.

But it did catch the Premier's attention.

He Tweeted that: "Yes. It's true. Constr'n scaffolding fell on my car. And it wasn't the wind. The Opposition will stop at nothing to keep me fr my peeps:)"
