Durham regional police are looking for a man who is alleged to have touched four teens inappropriately while posing as an officer in Oshawa, Ont.

Police say a 16-year-old boy and three 15-year-old girls were approached in a park Tuesday night by a man who began shouting obscenities and claiming to be a police officer.

Investigators say the man, who carried a flashlight and had a microphone on his chest, ordered the teens to get down on the ground and threatened to shoot them.

Police say the man searched the teens, touching them in inappropriate areas, while speaking into the microphone using police terms.

The suspect is 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot-9, clean-shaven with a deep voice.

He had a long black item in his back pocket, possibly a firearm.
