A text-messaging system allowing riders to find out how long they will have to wait for the bus will be rolled out this week.
A 66-year-old Toronto man is dead after he lost control of his vehicle in the city's east end on Sunday and crashed into a bus.
The vehicle was also carrying a three-year-old girl who was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the man lost control of the Subaru Forester because of a medical condition.
The incident took place at around 1:49 p.m. on Lawrence Avenue E around the Overture Road area.
