Toronto police say they are concerned for a missing woman whose son is wanted on murder charges.

Milada Ponjarac, 47, was last heard from on the morning of July 31, when she called her employer.

Ms. Ponjarac is the mother of Marko Pandurevic, 22, who is wanted for first-degree murder in the stabbing death of a 25-year-old man.

The stabbing happened near the Ontario Science Centre, also on the morning of July 31.

The missing woman is described as white, 1.67 metres (five feet six inches) tall and 68 kilograms (150 pounds), with dark-brown, straight, collar-length hair.

Police believe she is with her son, who is described as white, 1.8 metres (five feet 11 inches) tall and 77 kilograms (170 pounds).
