Toronto police are warning women in the Scarborough area to be careful following two separate violent assaults targeting women in the last three days.
The first assault in the city's east end happened around 11 p.m. on Thursday near McClevin Avenue and Neilson Road.
Police say a man allegedly grabbed hold of a woman and attempted to drag her into the bushes, but she managed to get away.
The second alleged assault happened around 4 p.m., Friday, in the Sewells Road and Neilson Road area.
Police say a man approached a woman from behind and struck her in the back of the head before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is being described as black, between 16 and 20 years old, 5-8 to 6 feet, with a medium build. He was clean shaven and was last seen wearing a brown and white horizontal stripped T-shirt.
