Ontario's police watchdog says it is looking into the circumstances around a man's death near Pearson International Airport.
The Special Investigations Unit says Keith Prescod, 53, of Toronto, was involved with Peel police officers early Sunday morning on the ramp to Terminal 3.
It says Mr. Prescod was restrained and then went into medical distress.
He was taken to Etobicoke General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A post-mortem exam was conducted on Monday and the results will be passed on to investigators.
The SIU has designated three subject officers and eight witness officers in the investigation.
