While driving to morning interviews, we came across what seemed to be a rare sight in Jacmel: a shiny white garbage truck with a crew scooping waste off the downtown streets. With only two garbage trucks in a city of nearly 50,000, waste removal remains a problem which is evident in endless trails of garbage.
