Language subconsciously shapes the way we think and feel; this applies to adults and children (Oh, No, Canada ... What A Mess - March 9).
If those who cried out against Nancy Ruth's initiative to change the reference to "sons" in the anthem think language doesn't matter, why are they so opposed to any change?
