I thought Noah Richler's assessment of the CBC labour dispute was so passionate, well-reasoned and well-written, it could have been presented as a blistering editorial by Michael Enright on The Sunday Edition. But Mr. Enright and other CBC luminaries are too busy on the picket line supporting jobs for life and the stilted mediocrity that goes with it. In the public relations battle between the Canadian Media Guild and the CBC, I think the guild just lost.
