We were all overjoyed to hear that all 64 adventurers on the Concordia - 48 students and 16 teachers and crew - were safely rescued and are arriving back in Canada (Battling Fear And Cold For 40 Hours, 'We Were Hopeless' Until Rescue Came - Feb. 21). Their amazing tale of survival shows the value of training and discipline in sailing.
I wonder, however, what divers will think, far in the future, if they come across the remnants of dozens of iPods scattered on the ocean floor. Mary Celeste, move over: This will be the Canadian version of one of the great mysteries of the sea.
