Are you kidding? The lawsuit against Dofasco is as absurd as a suit against a fast-food joint over spilled hot coffee.
Why can't we as a society stand up and take responsibility for our own actions instead of insisting on being protected from every conceivable mishap?
To allege that we need "sun screens to protect players" and "instructions in avoiding the sun" infantalizes us, implying that we are unable to use any personal judgment while using public facilities.
I'm sorry for the man's injuries, but why do we have to pay the price of higher insurance rates and communal fear of injury? Perhaps, if the suit fails, the sun could also be sued for liability.
