The United Nations should call in its famous investigator, Richard Goldstone, to look into the possibility that the United States, Britain and Canada are carrying out war crimes and crimes against humanity against Afghanistan's civilian population (Afghan Offensive Marred By Civilian Deaths - Feb. 16).
The Taliban could also be investigated for using civilians as human shields. Judge Goldstone could use his Gaza report and, with a few name changes here and there, quickly issue it as his Afghan report.
