Don't you just love those American politicians? John Hostettler, an Indiana Republican, declares that Canada is a hotbed for terrorists, that Canadian immigration policies are to blame, and that the border will be closed if there's a terrorist incident in the U.S. with a Canadian connection. (What's a "Canadian connection" anyway? They once watched hockey?)
I would remind Mr. Hostettler and other grandstanding American politicians that the border flows both ways, and that much of what flows south is oil. Indiana gets mighty cold in the winter, I hear.
