This custom-built, three-bedroom house on the Bow River was marketed through virtual tours for out-of-province shoppers and home tours for locals. After only six days, an offer was on the table.

“We knew someone would appreciate the level of construction, the location, and the views,” said agent Christopher Vincent. “It’s a very special property.”

The sellers were happy the home sold fairly quickly in an uncertain market.

“The things that are selling are selling relatively quickly,” said Mr. Vincent. “We thought it would either go in a few weeks, or it could be a long process.”

Mr. Vincent said the sale of the 16-year-old property on a 0.25-acre lot marks a high-water mark of sorts.

“It’s the highest resale price ever achieved in Canmore by $1.175-million,” said Mr. Vincent. “It’s probably the most sought-after street in Canmore because of the fact it’s along the river, very private, and still walkable to Main Street.

“There are new homes on that street that could easily surpass $10-million if they were to come to market.”

“[My clients] took the time to design a home that had spectacular views up and down the river, and unobstructed views of the Three Sisters,” said Mr. Vincent.

“It encompasses a lot of natural materials and lots of windows, really paying homage to the surrounding Rocky Mountains.”
