THE ACTION
This unit in an upscale fourplex in Canmore was built by Sticks and Stones Custom Homes. It has four bedrooms and was listed for sale immediately after construction was finished at an asking price of $2.29-million. A few days before Christmas it received an offer at the full asking price.
“This northwest unit gets that nice evening sun on it and great views,” said agent Christopher Vincent. “It’s a really nice unit.
“There was so much interest in this project, we were confident coming to market in November would achieve a sale.”
The dwindling supply of newer properties likely strengthened demand for this townhouse.
“In the greater South Canmore area, there’s not a lot of properties left for infill development,” Mr. Vincent said.

The second floor also has a kitchen with an island and a dining area. The living room has a gas fireplace, beamed ceilings and double doors to a balcony.

THE AGENT’S TAKE
“This builder takes a lot of time and attention to detail and quality of construction,” said Mr. Vincent.
“He’s one of the few that does ICF [Insulated Concrete Form] party walls between units, solid wood cabinetry in the kitchen, and higher spec appliance packages.”
