The action
The 47-year-old house is set on the highest point of a 30-by 109-foot lot and has 1,207 square feet of living space.eXp Realty
There were five offers for this semi-detached house in the northwestern quadrant of Calgary but the highest monetary offer didn’t take the keys.
“The highest offer came from an Ontario buyer who only saw it through video, but it had conditions, or the closing wasn’t perfect, so that offer was not accepted,” said agent Bryon Howard.
“We chose to go on the market when we did because there was no active competition in the price range between $580,000 to $780,000,” said Mr. Howard.
“We thought about listing it as low as $599,000 to get multiple offers, but we weren’t in a big rush to sell.”

“It’s in northwest Calgary, reasonably close to the University [of Calgary] and LRT,” said Mr. Howard.
“[The seller’s] son did some really terrific upgrades to the home, as well as beautiful landscaping. They also built a beautiful garage within the last five years. Everything was really done well.”
