Persuading buyers to travel to check it out was easier done with a list price under $700,000 this summer. Within the first week, two guests delivered competing purchase offers.
“That property is in a more rural environment, and it does take time for people to get there,” agent Jason Challenger said.
“But things that are priced appropriately still get multiple offers.”
Part of the appeal of this home was its proximity to shops, grocery stores and restaurants, as well as the historic FLATO Academy Theatre in Lindsay, Ont.
“There were lots of properties available,” Mr. Challenger said.
“Ranchers Road is about five minutes outside of Fenelon Falls and about 10 minutes outside of Lindsay, kind of between two larger towns in the Kawarthas.”
