What They Got

The Action
The sellers had to sell because of a job relocation and their desire to purchase another home in their new location, said listing agent Dennis Sepulveda. Their timing wasn’t ideal, with the condo market softening amid news reports of substantial inventory sitting on the market. Mr. Sepulveda had checked with realtors with listings in the area, and they confirmed that few buyers were looking.
Mr. Sepulveda’s clients put the bulk of their possessions in storage and hired a designer to style the home. Although built by Polygon eight years ago, it ended up looking like a new unit.
“We went all out with marketing, including a 4K cinematic video and drone shots. We also knew that buyers were expecting a deal, given all the news, so we priced accordingly,” said Mr. Sepulveda.
After a couple of showings and a couple of open houses, one group returned to have another look and then wrote an offer.
