Agents Dina Maglietta and David Knox typically need one week to sell a property on a popular residential street where they have closed half a dozen deals.

The pattern continues with this three-storey, semi-detached house, which fetched multiple offers in just six days from buyers eager to move into the Summerhill community.

"On that street, [homeowners]are minutes to the subway … shopping and cafés," says Mr. Knox.

The 1,855-square-foot house was in move-in condition. "It was very well decorated and showed very well," says Mr. Knox. "It had French country décor."

Nearly every year for the past decade, improvements were made, such as the addition of a wrought-iron fence and gate around the front garden; installation of new roofing, flooring and central vacuum system; and renovation of the eat-in kitchen and all four bathrooms.

Toward the back of the main floor, there is an open living and dining area with laminate floors, a gas fireplace and a walkout to a private deck with trellis work.

On the second floor, hardwood floors extend into the family room and master bedroom. The family room was recently outfitted with new built-in shelving, and the master has a private bathroom and Juliet balcony.

A full bathroom and two carpeted bedrooms round out the third level.

Above-grade windows illuminate the 373-square-foot basement, which contains a recreation room with a walk-in closet and access to a rear garage and heated driveway. "It has two-car parking, which is very important in that area," adds Mr. Knox.
