Empire Co. reports. Analysts expect fourth-quarter share profit of $1.03, up from 97 cents the previous year.
The U.S. Commerce Department reports on final gross domestic product data for the first quarter. An increase of 3 per cent, annualized, is forecast, the same as the previous quarter.
