Upside: The share rating was raised to "buy" from "hold" and the price target to $31 from $26. The share profit is forecast at $2.40 in 2010.
MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA - TSX)

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd., a data collection and distribution company, has won significant contracts during the past three months, said Steve Arthur, an analyst with RBC Dominion Securities. Its information systems contracts are long-term.
Upside: The shares are reiterated "top pick" with a price target of $52. The share profit is forecast at $2.93 in 2010 and $3.45 in 2011.
Juniper Networks Inc. (JNPR - NASDAQ)

Juniper Networks Inc., a maker of high-speed switching routers and security devices, has targeted 20-per-cent revenue growth and operating margins of about 25 per cent, which is an "ambitious but attainable path," said Richard Gardner, an analyst with Citigroup Global Markets.
Upside: Shares are reiterated "buy" with a price target of $36 (U.S.) and forecast profit of $1.22 in 2010 and $1.61 in 2011.
PPG Industries Inc. (PPG - NYSE)

PPG Industries Inc. supplies fibreglass and protective and decorative coatings to manufacturing, construction, automotive and chemical industries.
Upside: The shares, which yield 3.5 per cent, are rated "top pick" with a price target of $74 (U.S.) and will benefit from the cyclical recovery, said P.J. Juvekar, an analyst with Citigroup Global Markets. The share profit is forecast at $4.35 in 2010 and $4.68 in 2011.
MKS Inc. (MKX - TSX)

MKS Inc. evaluates operational performance and offers systems administration of software engineering and development activities by IT organizations.
Downside: MKS is making gains in the difficult enterprise software industry, but its share price appreciation justifies a reduced rating to "neutral" from "buy," said Versant Partners analyst Tom Liston. The share profit is forecast at 60 cents (U.S.) in 2010 and 85 cents in 2011.
