Public Sector Pension Investment Board has hired Warren Roll as a director in its private equity group, focused on direct and co-investments.
Mr. Roll was most recently with Aver Media LP, a fund focused on media that is run by Peter Sussman. Mr. Sussman was a controlling shareholder of Alliance Atlantis Communications before it was sold to CanWest and Goldman Sachs.
PSPIB invests pension funds contributed by employees of the public service, Canadian Forces and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
