The Toronto Argonauts have signed wide receiver/kick return specialist Gerran Walker and ex-NFL linebacker Leon Joe, the club announced Friday.
Walker played the past two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders as a receiver and kick returner, starting 19 regular season games and recording 866 combined yards.
Walker, who has spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Indianapolis Colts, and San Diego Chargers, also started in last year's West Final and the Grey Cup game in Calgary.
Joe has played in 19 NFL games and was a member of the Chicago Bears' 2006 NFC Championship team. Before finishing second for the Bears with 21 special team tackles in 2005, he had experience with the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Detroit Lions.
Joe dressed for one game in 2009 with the Montreal Alouettes.
