Canadian ice dancers Marie-Jade Lauriault and Romain Le Gac skated to a sixth-place finish at the Grand Prix de France on Sunday.

The duo earned a score of 112.74 in the free dance after coming sixth in the rhythm dance on Saturday.

France’s Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron took gold with a score of 133.02.

Fournier Beaudry, from Montreal, teamed up with Cizeron, a two-time Olympic medalist, in January.

Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson of Great Britain came in second (125.86) while Lithuania’s Allison Reed and Saulius Ambrulevicius finished third (120.07).

Canada’s Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps took silver in the pairs event on Saturday.
