The Vancouver Canucks have signed right-wing Karel Plasek to a three-year entry level contract.

The 20-year-old recorded 10 points (six goals, four assists) and eight penalty minutes in 44 games last season with HC Kometa Brno of the Czech Extraliga, ranking tenth in team scoring.

In four seasons with HC Kometa Brno, Plasek has registered 22 points (11 goals, 11 assists), 14 penalty minutes, and a plus-two rating.

Plasek represented the Czech Republic at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championships in Victoria and Vancouver, recording one assist in five games.

A native of Prerov, Czech Republic, Plasek was originally drafted by Vancouver in the sixth round, 175th over all, in the 2019 NHL draft.
