Linas Kleiza is officially a Toronto Raptor.

The team announced the signing Monday, nine days after it acquired the 25-year-old forward when the Denver Nuggets opted not to match Toronto's offer sheet. Financial terms of the "multi-year" deal have not been released.

It is the latest move in what has been a busy summer for the Raptors, who lost free agent Chris Bosh to the Miami Heat earlier this month. Toronto has also traded Hedo Turkoglu to Phoenix and re-signed free-agent forward Amir Johnson, among other moves.

"We are very happy to add a tough-minded, hard-nosed forward who will certainly get a chance to contribute given the departure of Hedo Turkoglu," Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo said in a release. "Linas has that unique inside-outside game that makes him a tough cover at a couple of different positions."

Kleiza played with the Greek club Olympiakos last year after four seasons in Denver. The 6-foot-8 player from Lithuania - who attended high school in Maryland - averaged 8.3 points a game with the Nuggets.
