The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are down to two candidates to be their new VP of football operations

The Bombers are expected to choose by Friday between Joe Mack, a former Winnipeg player personnel director with a healthy resume of NFL experience, and Jim Barker, who is the Calgary Stampeders' VP of football operations.

As for their vacant head coaching position, the Bombers this week requested permission to speak with Montreal offensive co-ordinator Scott Milanovich, who was interviewed last week by the Toronto Argonauts. Two other candidates they are believed to be considering are Calgary defensive co-ordinator Chris Jones and Hamilton defensive co-ordinator Greg Marshall, although that list may grow depending on who they hire as their top football executive.
