Calgary Stampeders quarterback Henry Burris is the CFL's offensive player of the month after helping his team clinch the West Division crown in October.
Stevie Baggs of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats earned defensive honours while Toronto's Chad Owens captured the special teams award and Saskatchewan's Andy Fantuz was named top Canadian.
The award winners were also judged on their play in the final week of the season, which took place in early November.
Burris led his club to a 4-2 record and a berth in the Western Division final. He accumulated 1,605 passing yards with a 66.9 per cent completion rate, while adding 14 touchdowns. Burris also carried the ball 21 times for 169 rushing yards.
Edmonton running back Daniel Porter was the runner-up.
Baggs, a defensive end for the Ticats, racked up 20 tackles, four sacks, three fumble recoveries for 141 return yards and two touchdowns.
Winnipeg defensive end Phillip Hunt was also in the running for the honour.
Owens was a unanimous selection after amassing 1,090 combined return yards for an average of 218.0 yards per game and one missed field goal return touchdown. The first-year Argo recorded 459 yards on kickoff returns, 434 on punts, and 197 on missed field goals during the month.
Receiver Fantuz was also a unanimous choice after posting 27 receptions for 436 yards and two touchdowns. The Chatham, Ont., native finished the season with a league-best 1,380 receiving yards in 2010.
The four players were chosen by a panel of judges that includes former CFL players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde, now of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.
