John Hufnagel will be back on the sidelines next season as he tries to guide the Calgary Stampeders to a second straight Grey Cup title.

Hufnagel announced today that he will return as Stampeders head coach for 2015 before handing the job to offensive co-ordinator Dave Dickenson.

Hufnagel says he'll remain as the team's general manager beyond next season.

The Stampeders are coming off a 20-16 win over Hamilton in Sunday's Grey Cup final.

It's Calgary's second CFL title since Hufnagel took over as head coach in 2008.
