Running back Jamal Robertson has signed a contract extension with the B.C. Lions that will keep him with the CFL team through the 2012 season.
The 34-year-old from Ohio Northern ran 154 times for 953 years for eight touchdowns last season. He also had 54 receptions for 387 yards.
"Jamal demonstrated last season that he can be an impact player for our offence and I am pleased to have him coming back," Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono said in a statement Monday.
The five-foot-nine 215-pound back signed with the Lions on March 22, 2010, after two years with the Toronto Argonauts.
