Brad Fritsch of Ottawa rebounded from a disappointing second round 74 to shoot 67 on Thursday which included seven birdies, moving him into a tie for fourth along with Richard Scott of Kingsville, Ont., who carded a round of even par 72. Montreal's Yohann Benson is in a tie for 19th after a round of 69 which included six birdies.

Danny King of Milton, Ont., is tied for 61st after shooting 77.

Lantana Golf Club - Lantana, TX (top 23 and ties advance)

Dustin Risdon of Strathmore, Alta., is tied for 16th after a round of 73 while Devin Carrey (70) of Surrey, B.C., Bryn Parry (69) of Vancouver and Roger Sloan (76) of Merritt, B.C., are among 14 players who are on the cut line, tied for 23rd with one round to play. Another 11 players are within two strokes of the first stage cut.

Adam Cornelson of Vancouver is tied for 64th after a round of 73 while Calgary's Jamie Kureluk is 71st after shooting 79

St. Johns Golf & Country Club - St Augustine, FL (top 22 and ties advance)

Louis-Pierre Godin of Trois-Rivieres, Que., is tied for 17th after a round of 67.

Matt Hill of Brights Grove, Ont., is tied for 38th after slumping to a round of 74, leaving him five strokes off the cut line heading into the final round. Alan McLean (72), originally from Scotland but living in London, Ont., is tied for 45th, seven strokes off the cut line. Craig Hicks of Tecumseh, Ont., is tied for 52nd after a round of 70.

Vincent Dumouchel of Trois-Rivieres, Que., the 2011 PGA of Canada champion, withdrew before the third round after shooting 78-73.

San Juan Oaks Golf Club - Hollister, CA (top 22 and ties advance)

James Allenby of Langley, B.C. is tied for 18th after carding a 71 on Thursday.

Former amateur standout Nick Taylor of Abbotsford, B.C., is tied for 40th after a round of 73. He will need to find at least four strokes on the final day if he hopes to advance to the next stage. Darren Wallace of Langley, B.C. is tied for 46th after a second straight round of 71. Jace Walker of St. Thomas, Ont., is tied for 73rd after a round of 78.

Oak Valley Golf Club - Beaumont, CA (top 23 and ties advance)

Montreal's Lindsay Wilson is alone in first place by five strokes after shooting a second round 64 which included six birdies over a seven hole span to start the back nine on Thursday.

Mitch Gillis of Williams Lake, B.C. is tied for 19th after a round of 70 while former Alberta amateur champion Mitch Evanecz of Red Deer, Alta., is tied for 25th after a second straight round of 72.

Kent Eger of Regina is tied for 35th after carding a round of 74 while Ryan Williams of Surrey, B.C. is tied for 53rd following a round of 75. Isabelle Beisiegel's chances of advancing took a hit when she carded a 79 which included three birdies, five bogeys, a double bogey and a quadruple bogey seven. The first woman to secure a tour card on a men's tour earlier this year is currently tied for 76th.

Kinderlou Forest Golf Club - Valdosta, CA (top 21 and ties advance)

James Love of Calgary moved into a tie for first place after a second round 68 which included five birdies and a snigle bogey. Will Mitchell of Pickering, Ont., is tied for third after shooting 71.

Scott Hawley (70) of Ottawa is tied for 55th while Matt Hoffman (72) of Thornhill, Ont., is 66th.

PGA Golf Club (Wanamaker Course) - Port St. Lucie, FL (top 22 and ties advance)

Toronto's Peter Laws shot a second round 70 to move him into a tie for seventh while David Markle of Shelburne, Ont., is tied for 14th after a round of 66 which included eight birdies. Jerome Blais of Sherbrooke, Que., is tied for 20th after a second straight round of 70.

Matthew Richardson of Woodbridge, Ont., is tied for 40th after a round of 74; Robbie Greenwell of Georgetown, Ont., is tied for 46th after shooting 71; and Ben Silverman of Thornhill, Ont., is tied for 53rd after a second straight round of 73.
