In this image provided by Nike Inc., Tiger Woods appears in a Nike commercial to air starting Wednesday, April 7, 2010 on ESPN.

DAVE MCGINN -- It was only a matter of time.

Parodies of the new Nike ad featuring Tiger Woods have begun trickling in to Youtube, some of them hilarious, some not so much.

If you haven't seen the commercial yet, it's a black and white spot featuring Woods staring in to the camera as a voiceover from the golfer's late father, Earl, asks Tiger to explain his choices and his thinking.

Given the simplicity of the ad, it's about as perfect a template for parody as it gets. All a jokester needs to do is replace the audio.

One parody features a voicemail Tiger left with one of his mistresses asking her to take her name off her phone in case his wife calls. Another features a Tom Cruise speech he gives to men in the movie Magnolia.

My personal favourite features Health Ledger talking to Batman in The Dark Knight. "To them, you're just a freak," he says.

Deadspin.com has a roundup of some of the best parodies from around the internet.

Be warned, though, that several of the parodies feature language that isn't safe for work.
