After winning back-to-back Memorial Cups, Bob Boughner is moving on to a new challenge.
The former Windsor Spitfires coach was hired as an assistant by the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday.
Boughner will work under new Columbus coach Scott Arniel.
He spent the last four years as the Spitfires president and head coach, leading the team to the CHL championship the past two seasons.
Boughner appeared in more than 600 career NHL games before his playing career ended in 2006.
