Guelph Storm centre Robby Fabbri has been handed a 10-game suspension for delivering a check to the head of an opponent in a game last week.
The league reviewed the incident and announced the ban Wednesday.
Fabbri was given a five-minute major and game misconduct for the play, which occurred in Guelph's game against the Kitchener Rangers last Friday.
Fabbri, a five-foot-10, 165-pound native of Mississauga, Ont., has 24 points (10 goals, 14 assists) in 17 games this season.
