Taylor Hall has officially signed on with the Edmonton Oilers.

The first player selected in the 2010 National Hockey League entry draft last month has agreed to a three-year entry-level contract and will take part in the Oilers' development camp beginning Tuesday in Edmonton.

Oilers' general manager Steve Tambellini announced the signing today guaranteeing Hall will be at the team's full training camp this fall.

The Calgary-born Hall recently completed his third season in the Ontario Hockey League, helping the Spitfires capture the Memorial Cup for the second year in a row. He finished tied for first in the OHL with 106 points in just 57 games.

The 6 foot 1, 190-pound winger was dominant in the Spitfire's Memorial Cup win, capturing the Stafford Smythe Memorial Trophy as the tournament's most valuable player, the first player in its history to win it two years in a row.

Hall was part of the silver medal-winning Team Canada at the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championship in Saskatoon. He was the lone draft-eligible player selected to the roster and finished the tournament third in scoring with 12 points in six games.

The Oilers development camp, which concludes Friday, will feature other prospects Jordan Eberle and Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson.
