The Nashville Predators have signed defenceman Scott Hannan to a US$1-million, one-year deal.

The 33-year-old from Richmond, B.C., had two goals and 10 assists with the Calgary Flames last season.

Hannan has 33 goals, 164 assists and 522 penalty minutes in 908 career regular season games with San Jose, Colorado, Washington and Calgary.
