Goaltenders Brian Elliott of the Ottawa Senators and Craig Anderson of the Colorado Avalanche, plus Pittsburgh Penguins centre Sidney Crosby were named the NHL's three stars of the week Monday.

Elliott earned first star honours after winning all four of his starts while posting a 1.25 goals-against average and .957 save percentage.

Anderson was the second star after posting a pair of shutouts while winning three times with a 0.33 GAA and .988 save percentage.

Crosby was the third star after scoring three goals with five assists in three games, two of them Pittsburgh wins. He tied a career high with six points (2-4) in a 6-4 victory over the Islanders on Jan. 19.
