Andrew Gordon of the host Hershey Bears and Robert Bortuzzo of the Wilkes-Barre-Scranton Penguins each scored two goals for East.
Jerome Samson of the Charlotte Checkers added a goal and two assists, while Kyle Palmieri of the Syracuse Crunch, Jeremy Williams of the Connecticut Whale, Jamie Arneil of the Providence Bruins and Matt Anderson of the Albany Devils also scored.
Francis Wathier of the Texas Stars led West with a pair of goals. Michal Repik of the Rochester Americans had a goal and two assists, while T.J. Hensick of the Peoria Rivermen, Ilari Filppula of the Grand Rapids Griffins, Sergei Shirokov of the Manitoba Moose, Spencer Machacek of the Chicago Wolves and Alexandre Giroux of the Oklahoma City Barons also scored.
Martin Jones of the Manchester Monarchs split goaltending duties with Tyler Curry of the Penguins. They combined for 42 saves on 50 shots.
Peoria's Jake Allen, Curtis Sanford of the Hamilton Bulldogs and Mark Dekanich of the Milwaukee Admirals each played one period for West, combining for 24 saves on 35 shots.
Butler, who plays for the Binghamton Senators, was named the game's most valuable player.
