European ice dance champions Nathalie Pechalat and Fabian Bourzat have been given the all-clear by doctors to compete at the world championships after Pechalat broke her nose earlier this month, the French federation said on Sunday.
Pechalat had surgery after damaging her nose during practice but her doctors have said she can take part in the worlds which start next week in Nice, the federation statement said.
"It's a relief. It is still a little painful and difficult to breathe but we never considered pulling out," the 28-year-old Pechalat was quoted as saying.
Pechalat and Bourzat retained their continental title last January in Sheffield.
The world championships run from March 26 to April 1.
