Emil Joensson of Sweden and Norway's Marit Bjoergen won World Cup cross-country skiing sprint freestyle events on Sunday.
Joensson, the defending World Cup sprints champion, beat Russia's Alexei Petukhov by 0.3 seconds over a 1.4-kilometre course. It was his seventh career victory.
Switzerland's Dario Cologna was third on his hometown course and leads the overall World Cup standings. Russia's Alexander Legkov, who is second overall, did not race Sunday.
World Cup leader Bjoergen continued her dominating season with a 41st career victory.
The 30-year-old Norwegian led Italy's Arianna Follis by two seconds with Kikkan Randall of the United States a further 0.4 back in third.
Bjoergen won the 10-kilometre classical event on Saturday.
