With the World Cup less than a month away, many Canadian soccer fans lucky enough to snag tickets to FIFA’s highly anticipated 2026 tournament are counting down as the country prepares to jointly host with the United States and Mexico.

Between June 11 and July 19, 48 teams will play 104 games in the World Cup’s largest edition yet. Thirteen of those games will be hosted in Toronto and Vancouver. The first game in Canada will take place on June 12 at Toronto Stadium, featuring Canada’s men’s national team taking on Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Almost 4,000 tickets to Canada’s World Cup opening match become available to fans
