The Vancouver Whitecaps have made another deal, sending defender-midfielder Nathan Sturgis to Toronto FC for a first-round pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft.
The Whitecaps picked Sturgis from Seattle in the third round of Wednesday's expansion draft.
The 23-year-old Sturgis spent the last two seasons with the Sounders.
Before that, he was with Real Salt Lake and Los Angeles Galaxy.
In exchange for Sturgis, the Whitecaps received Toronto's eighth overall pick in the draft.
Vancouver now has the first and eighth overall selections, as well as the first picks in the remaining three rounds of the SuperDraft.
