Allie Graham

Allie is an audio journalist based in Toronto, working on The Globe's weekday podcast, the Decibel. She got her start in Halifax at CKDU 88.1 FM and has since produced, written, and mixed shows for iHeart Media, CBC Podcasts, Pushkin Industries, Crooked Media, and Canadaland, among other networks.
Over the years, she's worked on shows about the state of U.S. democracy, Toronto's homeless encampments, industry disruptors, navigating Canada's cost of living crisis, and the comedic nature of wellness culture.
Allie joined The Decibel team full-time as a producer and occasional mixer in August 2024. With The Globe, she's also reported from the federal budget lockup in Ottawa, travelled to a Canadian town where Christmas movies are filmed, and interviewed Globe journalists about AI layoffs and the gender gap in post-secondary schools.
When she's not hovering over a breaking news notification, Allie spends her time watching TV shows about spies and diplomats, knitting, and writing and performing poetry and comedy.
