Amber Dowling is a freelance lifestyle and entertainment writer and critic whose work has appeared in various newspapers, magazines and websites across Canada and the United States. A previous president of the Television Critics Association, a Critics Choice Association member and the former editor-in-chief of TV Guide Canada, she’s covered all aspects of the platinum age of television and the emerging industry.
When she's not channel surfing or doom scrolling, Amber coaches competitive girls fastpitch and is a private pitching instructor. On days off you'll catch her hiking, camping, hanging out with her family and pets, or putting in her best guesses at trivia night.
