David Crosbie is the editor of The Globe’s daily news podcast, The Decibel. This role involves story selection and research, editing, mixing, scoring and periodically producing. He also mixes and scores the In Her Defence podcast.

Before The Globe, he worked at Canadaland, producing the shows Short Cuts, Thunder Bay, OPPO, and DDx. And before that, he was a web editor at The Hamilton Spectator, hosting and producing an award-winning true crime podcast, as well as a weekly interview show. He has also written for all of these publications.

David is an avid reader and was recognized by YouTube Music as being among the top 2% of Warren Zevon listeners, 2022.
